MY LOCAL REAL ESTATE OFFICE After a day tramping around the woods looking at property, we come back to my cozy and comfortable office to discuss what we've seen, have something to drink - and use the bathroom, always a welcome feature! I write offers on my laptop using my Verizon high speed wireless connection. The office is solar powered, with an 800 watt Outback system, so people can see what an installation of that kind looks like. I like to promote alternative energy as an excellent alternative to conventional power from PG&E. Our homestead in the hills runs on a 1,680 watt system that incorporates both solar and hydroelectric, with generator back-up. We have lived with alternative energy for over 30 years.
